Elena Pacenti

She is currently serving as Dean of the School of Design at NewSchool of Architecture & Design in San Diego, California. Her background is in design research and innovation, after her initial studies and research at Politecnico di Milano, she conducted international research projects for many years at Domus Academy, and just 6 years ago moved to USA, where she has established the School of Design in a local Institution. In these years in California she has been able to further reflect upon the evolution of the design discipline, education and practice and to observe its application in the different cultural, social and business contexts.
